Beliefs

Rooted in the gospel

We hold to the historic Christian faith and a Reformed, gospel-centered confession: that Scripture is God's authoritative Word, that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, and that God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him.

Our core commitments

Member Affirmation of Faith

The shorter confession that every member affirms. It states the core convictions we hold in common as a congregation.

Elder Affirmation of Faith

The fuller confession our elders teach in accordance with. It goes further than the Member Affirmation and governs what is taught from our pulpit and in our classes.

Membership Covenant

How we explicitly and publicly commit ourselves to one another — to guard, care, submit, support, and minister together for the building up of the body.

3. God the Father

4. Jesus Christ

5. The Holy Spirit

Further affirmations

Alongside our confessional documents, the elders have adopted affirmations on matters where clarity serves the church.

Human Sexuality

The statement, Beliefs on Human Sexuality, outlines God's good design for human sexuality and addresses areas of confusion in our culture (e.g., marriage, same-sex attraction, transgenderism, and reproductive technologies). The Council of Elders drafted and adopted the statement in 2026.

Manhood and Womanhood

Thirteen articles of affirmation and denial on the created order, marriage and singleness, and the church. Adopted by the Council of Elders in 2021 and reaffirmed in 2023.

Ethnic Harmony

Ten articles of affirmation and denial on the image of God, race and ethnicity, justice, political engagement, and the mission of the church. Adopted in 2021 and reaffirmed in 2023.
